Please Comment

I have to say that right now, being in the first trimester of my pregnancy, I'm kind of slacking. I'm still doing preschool, but the ideas might not be great. Please use the links to Everything Preschool and Letter of the Week. Those sites have lots of ideas. Enchanted Learning is also great. I'll add that link to my sidebar.

I have heard from a few people that they check this site for ideas for teaching their children. I would like to ask those of you who read this blog for ideas to comment with your own ideas. I'm not looking for comments about how great my ideas are because I leave plenty of room for improvement. But I'd love it if some of you took a minute to share your ideas for each letter in the comments section so that we can share even more great preschool ideas. And if you can share ideas after trying them with your kids and let us know how they worked, that would be extra helpful.

Thanks for reading!

Laura, your my hero for doing this. I don't look all the time because Ben just isn't old enough. But when he is I'd love to do something like this!

Keep up the good work!

My idea that has worked for me and the three small (<3 yrs) boys in our preschool co-op is 1) lots of movement activities and 2)distraction.

My son loves to be busy so I have them jump over the letter on the floor, incorporate muscial instruments/ dancing whenever I can. Just sitting still doesn't work very well beyond a few moments and when I remember the important thing is that he is having fun and playing (a goal we moms agreed on for our boys) then it's a success.

I have LOVED all your great ideas. You are so creative! I am following your curriculum and will be starting week three tomorrow "C" My litle Jonah has loved the art activities and all the reading we do each day. He loves to go look out the window and then move the arrows to what the weather is (We made a preschool posterboard like you suggested) Thank you so much for helping me with some great lessons. I always wanted to do preschool, but didn't know where to start! The crayons will be fun. We loved the apple stamping for "A week"
